“A very good base for roving north towards Colombo and south towards Galle. Many fewer tourists than in nearby Bentota. Good local shops and infrastructure in both Beruwala and nearby Aluthgama. Excellent swimming and sandy beach with good beach restaurants, but not busy, at nearby Moragella.”
