In addition to its historical heritage, which includes the Cathédrale d'Image, it welcomes visitors with breathtaking views of the Alpilles. A little further afield: the Pont du Gard, ancient Arles, which beckons with ancient arenas and is known for its spectacular festive spectacles (the so-called Ferias), or Avignon, the former seat of the Pope with its unmistakable ruins of an arched bridge, its city walls and its festival.
