This mid-19th century farm estate has been transformed in to an extremely comfortable holiday residence set amid 13ha (approx 26 acres) of land bordering the Roccamomfina Nature Park. The property has large reception rooms that have been decorated with great care in attention in a traditional yet very tasteful manner. The eat-in the kitchen and dining room, as all of the rooms, in this house, are large in size and perfectly equipped. The house has a further four large bedrooms and four spacious and up-to-date bathrooms allowing up to nine guests to live in the property in perfect comfort. The garden of the property is equally charming. There are a couple of terrcases perfectly suited for dining outdoors and there is a beautiful private pool open between: the 15th May and the 2nd of October (weather permitting). The owners of the estate produce their own excellent olive oil on the grounds, known to be one of the best in the country. The villa is situated on the side of a hill which faces west over the enchanting bay of Gaeta. Please note the rental price of the property includes 2 hours/day cleaning help. ! A few metres away from the villa, but in a completely independent setting, separated by a hedge, is the caretakers' house who look after the property, the garden and the swimming-pool. There are various places of interest in this part of Italy. To the north the plains crossed by the river Garigliano and dominated by the ancient Abbey of Montecassino and, to the east, the mountain range of the Abruzzi Apennines can be seen. In the vicinity of the property: S. Carlo (food shops)is at a 1km distance, 6 km S. Clemente (various shops), 25 km Formia and Baia Domizia (public beaches and beaches where you can hire deck-chairs etc). About an hour's drive away you can reach interesting places such as Gaeta and on a day trip reach Caserta, Naples and the Amalfi coast.
