Lage:
This cottage is located in a very secluded and calm area, amidst the alpine area and above the town St. Johann - from here you have a wonderful view onto the "Salzburger Sportwelt" and the "Hohen Tauern". Enjoy your breakfast while sitting in the morning sun. Here you are surrounded by grazing cows and calves, a streamlet within spitting distance and the well in front of the hut creates calming sounds - just relaxing for body and mind.


Entfernungen:
Access to the cottage with your car via a 3km long forest road. The city St. Johann with shopping centre, restaurants, cafés and cinema is 3km away. Ideal starting-point for alpine hiking tours, bicycle tours and sightseeing. Ski Amadé with cable car and small amusement park, tennis, horse riding, swimming pool, swimming lakes and golf 4km. Thermal area Gastein 35km away.


Ausstattung:
Big snuggery with dining area, suite and integrated kitchen with wood stove, oven, gas fridge and radio. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Upper floor: 2 double rooms and one four-bed room. Heating and warm water (boiler) with wood stove, solar electricity (12 volt). Covered seats, barbecue and sun loungers are available.


Nebenkosten:
Local tourism tax currently € 1,-/person/night, firewood € 40,-/week, gas for the fridge € 10,-/week. Final cleaning € 80,-. Bed linen can be rented for € 10,-/set and towels for € 5,-/set. Cot with bed linen € 20,-/stay.

    “Ein kleines idylisches Juwel in den Bergen! Unser Traum vom Almurlaub in abgeschiedener Lage ist endlich in Erfüllung gegangen! Hier kann man sich richtig entspannen und auf das Wesentliche besinnen, kreativ sein, in aller Ruhe ein Buch lesen, wandern oder was leckeres am Holzherd kochen.

    Wir hatten kurz überlegt ob uns "der Blick ins Tal" fehlt (da er von Bäumen verdeckt war) - aber NEIN er fehlte nicht, denn der Blick auf die Hügel war einfach unglaublich schön. Am Tag kommen vielleicht 1-2 Wanderer oder Mountainbiker vorbei, sonst sieht man nur die Kühe und die schöne Natur.

    Die Hütte war super sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieter waren total nett, haben uns tolle Ausflüge vorgeschlagen und leckere eigene Marmelade und Obstler vorbereitet.”

    “We hebben met onze kinderen een heerlijke week gehad in dit vakantiehuis. Ver van de bewoonde wereld (een kwartier over een onverharde weg), prachtig gelegen, alle ruimte en vrijheid. De houtkachel werkte goed en makkelijk, daarmee heb je gewoon een warme douche en de elektriciteit hebben wij niet gemist (telefoon opladen kan ook via de accu van de auto). Het huis is comfortabel en was heel schoon. De gastvrouw/eigenaresse heeft ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen, is super vriendelijk en geeft veel tips voor wandelingen/activiteiten in de omgeving. We komen zeker terug!”

    “Wir, eine vierköpfige Familie mit Hund, haben hier eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser urgemütlichen Hütte verbracht. Oben am Berg in absoluter Alleinlage kann man bei Kuhglockenläuten und plätschern des süßen Brunnens ganz leicht Abschalten vom Alltag. Morgens den Sonnenaufgang genießen und abends auf dem Holzofen kochen, idyllischer geht's kaum. Nach einem besonders herzlichen Empfang durch die nette Vermieterin haben wir uns sofort heimisch gefühlt und können dieses "Idyll" nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.”

    “Die Almhütte war genau so wie wir es erwartet hatten! Echtes Almfeeling in traumhafter Lage!!!
    Alles war sehr sauber und die Vermieterin empfing uns freundlich. Hat alles gut geklappt und der Holzofen hat auch super gut funktioniert. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war, dass wir am Abreisetag schon so früh morgens aus der Hütte rausmussten...
    Die Hütte ist ein echter Geheimtipp - klare Weiterempfehlung!”
