Spacious holiday home Chalet Krokus

Distance to ski area: ~950 m Well-equipped chalet with fireplace, sauna and free WLAN, on three floors. Friendly, spacious living/dining room with cosy sitting area and fireplace. The chalet has a very favourable ratio of the number of people (up to 6) to the living space of 120 m². Beautiful hillside location on the edge of Les Collons, with a fascinating mountain panorama. Distance to the centre of Les Collons ~400 m. The pleasant holiday resort has shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs, bank, post office, ski hire, ski school. Nearby Thyon 2000 offers an indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season), ~6 km. Attractive winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes. Ski info Chalet altitude ~1700 m, ski area up to 3,330 m (Mont Fort glacier). Distance to the 4-seater express chairlift and ski piste ~950 m. These are part of the top ski area Les Collons - Verbier - Quatre Vallées. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 kilometres of pistes and numerous fantastic deep-snow runs. Express chairlift 'Ethérolla'. From Greppon Blanc (2,700 m), wonderful deep-snow descent "L'Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed; at your own risk) over 1,300 metres in altitude into a side valley; return by bus. Large "Centralpark" snow park near Thyon. Artificial ice rink in Hérémence. The region offers ~12 km of cross-country ski trails. Ski pass: up to 20% ski pass discount - depending on the season - on the normal price for the entire Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Vallées area and for the local Printze ski area from a 6-day pass; also applies to children, young people and senior citizens.Summer info In summer, reduced additional costs of CHF 10 per person/week (from 5 years) for electricity + heating (for arrivals June - September inclusive). Les Collons also has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the many hiking and mountain bike tours attract visitors. You can walk along the "Suonen" (former irrigation channels) with only a slight incline. Other activities on offer include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll through the historic town of Sion, the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the Grande Dixence dam (285 metres above sea level). Location description: Attractive ski and holiday resort of Les Collons in a wonderful panoramic location south of the Rhone Valley, in beautiful alpine surroundings at 1800 m above sea level. It has a supermarket, restaurants, café, après-pubs, disco, childcare, bank, sports shops. Ice rink in the centre of the village. Ski school. A wide range of activities such as hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, golf - in Sion, Crans Montana or Sierre - or fishing. Pleasant walks, e.g. sections of the typical Valais bisses (irrigation channels). The Bisse de Saxon leads from Les Collons to Nendaz and Vercorin. Total trail network over 100 km. A wide range of excursion options thanks to its location at the crossroads of Switzerland, France and Italy. Popular excursions, e.g. with the Mont Blanc Express to Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc, or - over the Great St. Bernard Pass - to the Italian Aosta Valley.
