This cozy apartment lays on the 3rd floor of Residenza Vivian, which enjoys an exceptional location in the city center of Locarno besides being directly on the Lake Maggiore.
It has an area of 88 square meters, including a large terrace with a 90° lateral view of the lake. It consists of an airy and bright bedroom with a double bed, a spacious living room with American kitchen and a sofa bed, 1 bathroom, with bathtub/shower and bidet. There are two spacious storage rooms, one of which houses the washing machine and the other, on the terrace, the vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies. There is a workstation/desk in the apartment, which may comfortably be used as home office. Large-sized, state of the art television. A private parking space inside the building is included in the price of the apartment.
Residenza Vivian is a sole ownership building recently built in full respect of the environment sustainability and according to modern ecological standards, using natural and high quality materials such as granite, marble and glass. Heating and cooling is effectively managed with geothermal energy, thanks to the lake water, without any oil or gas. The apartments are spacious, bright, equipped with all amenities and stylishly furnished. They are fully equipped with washing machine, linen, dishes and all kitchen utensils (including kettle, vacuum cleaner, Nespresso coffee machine and microwave).
The location of the Residenza is unique: it is optimally connected to public transport and only 5 minutes walk from the train station, the city center, all services and the main tourist attractions of the city.
For example: the old town, the port, the Kursaal Casino, Lido di Locarno and its SPA Termali e Salini, tennis, golf, hospital, restaurants, markets and supermarkets, cableway to Cardada and Madonna del Sasso, woods hiking and biking trails, beaches, ... 
It is only a few minutes by car from Ascona and at the crossroads to the lush valleys of the Locarno region, which are ideal for a wide range of summer, winter and mountain sport activities and are characterized by the intact preservation of ancient traditions.

Negativ: Die Klimaanlage war nicht individuell einstellbar, bzw. nur recht kompliziert. Aber das ist ok. Restaurant: Popolo - Pizzeria Ausflüge: Piazza Grande - Historischer Platz, gerade während dem Film Festival Locarno ein unglaublich spektakuläres Open Air Kino.”

    “Werde auf jeden Fall immer wieder diese Wohnung mieten Positiv: Zentral, neuwertig, nächster Nähe zur Altstadt, Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Schifffahrt, etc. - absolut perfekte Wohnung für 2 Personen, eigener unterirdischer Parkplatz Ausflüge: Brissago Inseln - Schöne Insel”

    “Für Ferien ist diese Wohnung ungeeignet. Es ist ein ausgesprochenes Business Appartement. Wir würden das nächste Mal bei der Auswahl einer Wohnung vorsichtiger sein. So etwas möchten wir nie mehr erleben. Positiv: Die Lage. Die Architektur. Diese Gebäude (viele in dieser Gegend) vermitteln den Eindruck einer Grossstadt. Das ist auch etwas schade für den Tessin und Locarno. Negativ: Wir fanden in der Wohnung eine kaputte Kaffeemaschine. Keine Küchenwäsche, wenig Badezimmerwäsche, keine Handseife ungenügend Toilettenpapier. TV Fernbedienung stieg aus. Nach meiner Reklamation wurde die Maschine ersetzt und Materiel aufgefüllt. TV stieg erst am Mittwoch aus und ich konnte durch Manipulation am Einschaltknopf trotzdem die Tagesschau sehen. Die Sicht auf den See nur wenn man sich auf die Ecke des Balkons stellt. Tag und Nacht sehr grosser Verkehrslärm. Man schläft nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern”
