Holiday apartment with use of a garden and a terrace, in an absolutely quiet location near the beach

This comfortable holiday apartment is in the beautiful and tranquil Okrug Donji near Trogir on the island Ciovo. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in an absolutely quiet rural location with a view of greenery and surrounded by fir trees, olive trees, sage and Mediterranean vegetation, on the edge of the small locality. The beach and the centre with many amenities are within convenient walking distance. You can go on walks and exploratory trips on the island with its sandy bays and trips to Trogir or Split in the area.

The comfortably furnished apartment provides 90m² of living space and is on the ground floor of the two-storey house, below the apartment of the German-speaking owners. The air-conditioned interior comprises a very well-equipped kitchen with a dining room, a sociable living room, two separate bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (160 x 200cm) with two bedside tables and reading lamps. A generous wardrobe with sliding doors provides storage space. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm), a large wardrobe and a smart TV flat screen. Before going to sleep you can watch your favourite TV programmes comfortably from the bed. The second bedroom has direct access to a spacious terrace. After a day trip, you can relax in the stylish living room with exclusive furniture. A flatscreen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a stereo system provide entertainment. The fully-equipped kitchen enables comprehensive self-catering and includes a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a four-zone hob with an oven etc. The dining table with six chairs provides ample space for leisurely meals. The kitchen and living room open towards the outdoors. The newly designed bathroom with light tiles and modern flooring offers a pleasant atmosphere. It has a walk-in shower, a WC, a large washbasin, a washing machine and bathroom furniture.

There is plenty of space on the enclosed site for children to play and run around. A terrace with a comfortable dining suite and parasol invites you to dine outdoors. There is a new, additional terrace with garden furniture set. The fixed grill is in the garden, for sociable grill evenings.
The owners do their best to enable a comfortable and pleasant stay in your apartment and also speak very good German.

The beach Stari Porat is about 400 metres from the holiday apartment, just a few minutes’ walk away. Many shops, cafes and restaurants await your visit in Okrug Gornji about 3km away, along with a grocery shop and a post office. Apart from the many beach bays with clear, clean water, it is worth going on day trips to Trogir (7km), Krka waterfalls (60km) or Split (35km). It is a great place to relax and enjoy quiet starry nights. Owing to its peace and quiet, pristine nature, seclusion and the proximity to the UNESCO town Trogir, Okrug Donji is suitable for a leisurely holiday with the family, as well as a cultural stay.

Excursion possibilities : The city of Trogir (7 km),Is a pearl on the coast of Dalmatia, only 27 km from the metropolis of Split. The city and the small resorts on the Riviera are a popular holiday and destination. The special charm and flair that the city has sprayed Trogir to thank the Romans.These separated the old city center by a canal from the mainland. Today, as you walk across the bridge to the Old Town, your journey begins with the exciting history of the over2000-year-old city. Narrow romantic lanes lead you to the historic buildings and squares framed by a beautiful waterfront. In 1997, UNESCO declared the entire Old Town complex a World Heritage Site. In the evening, tempt the restaurants and konobas in the historic ambience of the old town and on the lively waterfront with traditional Mediterranean cuisine and excellent wines. Whether you want to end the evening quietly or explore the nightlife of the city, the possibilities are as varied and unique as the city itself.
The historic city of Split (35 km),In the heart of Dalmatia, surrounded by the mountains Mosor, Kozjak and the mountain range Perun, you will find a real open-air museum in the 1.700 year old town Split. The Palace of Diocletian, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, and the bustling Riva waterfront are the lively center of the city.Culturally interested visitors to the city can expect a journey back in time to antiquity. Magnificent mighty columns, squares and buildings recall the Roman era of Split.Along the Riva and in the center of Split, specialties of Dalmatian cuisine await you in the evening. Freshly caught fish, octopus risotto, lobster and other delicacies can be found on the Konoba's menus, restaurants and taverns. National Park Krka (60 km),Covers most of the course of the river and the bank of the river of the same name, from the historic town of Knin, not far from its origin, to Skradin. In Skradin, the Krka River turns into a long and deep bay. Attraction of the national park are the seven waterfalls. The biggest and most beautiful waterfalls are Skradinski buk and Roški slap. Along the Krka and the lakes you will find many old fortress ruins, mills and some monasteries. To emphasize is the Franciscan monastery on the island Visovac. The approximately 1-acre island was partially artificially heaped up. You can reach them with one of the numerous excursion boats that run on the lake.

If you go further along the coast you can find secluded spots to enjoy the forest and the sea. In clear visibility, you have a beautiful view to the south of Okrug Donji of the islands Kraljevac and Sveta Fumija.
