Located centrally in the Winelands of the Western Cape, the Golf Estate is the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. The focal point of the resort is the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course as well as the breathtaking mountains that surround the resort. The club house is an architectural master piece and offers many facilities for non golfers too. It has immaculate change rooms, a modern gym and a restaurant with a large patio. The bar serves anything from cocktails to the wine for which this region is renowned for. A day spa offers a variety of treatments.

The golf lodges at the Golf Estate are located around beautiful, interconnected dams with views of the surrounding mountains. This Golf Estate is one of the top holiday resorts in South Africa for golfers and non-golf playing guests. The secure estate has won numerous awards and has walking, running and cycling tracks. A 42km mountainbike trail has been built with some really enjoyable single tracks. There is a swimming pool with a poolside bar area and the children’s splash pool has water slides to entertain the kids. Next to the club house are two tennis courts and cricket batting nets and on the outskirts of the estate is an equestrian estate.

The estate is situated between Franschhoek and Paarl, making it ideally situated to enjoy many of the famous wine farms of South Africa most of which are all within a 10 km radius. This area is also home to many world class chefs that serve mouth watering food for guests to enjoy.

Apart from the many golf courses of this area, there are hiking trails, incredible mountain biking routes and scenic roads for cycling. Canoeing, polo, horse riding, fishing, cross country running and many more sports and activities are offered in this area. A trip to Cape Town is also only a short 65 km drive on the freeway nearby.

The hotel suite, is situated between the golf lodges and the clubhouse.

Unit 504 is privately-owned. This suite has been decorated according to the same specifications as the other hotel suites, so that the uniformity and the same high standards are maintained.

The hotel is in a car-free area of the property. It can be reached on foot or by the golf cart. The vehicles are parked in the clubhouse, which is located about 300 m from the hotel apartment.

Unit 504 of the hotel, is a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor. It is situated in the front row and offers unobstructed views, of the golf driving range and the Simonsberg mountains.

Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, the main one with bathtub and shower, the other with only a shower.

There is a kitchenette, a dining area with seating for 4 people and a lounge with a comfortable sofa.

It is an ideal apartment for short-term rentals, as well as for longer periods.

The estate is essentially based around the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. The houses and lodges have been arranged to compliment the golf course and have a natural flow. In addition to the golf course, there is a large driving range and putting greens.

Gorgeous views, golfing facilites and well-known winelands.

The surrounding area, commonly also known as the Cape Winelands, offer guests a variety of activities. These include:
- Wine farms – the area has an abundance of well known wine farms offering wine tasting, restaurants with fine dining, coffee shops, guided tours and even hiking and mountain biking. Some of the well known wine estates near the estate are: Boschendal, La Motte, Nederburg, KWV, Rupert & Rothschild.
- Dining – Franschhoek has become synonymous with extraordinary dining. A number of restaurants have some of South Africa’s top chefs creating memorable and tasty dining experiences.
- Equestrian and Polo – the neighbouring estate, Val de Vie is essentially a polo estate that has seen some famous celebrities play, like Prince Harry who partook in the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup.
- Hiking – the mountainous surroundings have some breathtaking (both visually and physically) hiking trails. Paarl mountain is one of the more popular destinations, with its 360° panorama views on top of the famous granite dome.
- Cycling – both road and mtb cyclists can cycle along some of the most scenic roads and trials. Numerous organised events both on and off road are held in this area.
- Canoeing – the crystal clear Berg River forms one of Pearl Valleys boundaries and only a few kilometres downstream sees the start of the annual Berg River canoe marathon.

The Golf Estate is located in the Winelands of Cape Town, between Paarl and Franschhoek. This region of the Western Cape is home to many of the well known wine estates as well as award winning restaurants. The estate is a mere 65 km from the V&A Water Front in Cape Town and 55 km from the Cape Town International Airport.

The simplest route from the airport, is to travel on the N2 towards Somerset West. After approximately 5 km keep left and turn onto the R300 in the direction of Bellville/Paarl. A further 10 km later this freeway merges with the N1 north. Keep driving for approximately 30 km in the direction of Paarl then take the off-ramp onto the R301. Turn towards Franschhoek, after 10 km the estate will be on the right.

To travel to Cape Town is very similar. After leaving the golf estate, turnleft into Wemmershoek Road (in direction of Paarl). After 10 km turn left onto the N1 and then continue along the freeway for 55 km which continues into central Cape Town.
